Recently in Parliament, I met with representatives of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance and thanked them for saving the life of a young Chelmsford resident the previous night.
Along with other Essex MPs we discussed the need for more and better landing pads for the helicopters at hospitals, and to make it easier to transfer patients from helicopters to surgery.
Our Air Ambulances do an incredible job. Their medics and paramedics work long 12 hour shifts day and night every day to save lives.
