Monday 27 May  Bank holiday and it’s important to take some family time, especially as all of my children are in the midst of exams. I stayed up late waiting for the results of the European Election which showed clearly how frustrated many voters are with the deadlock in Westminster.

The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster in politics. The Prime Minister has announced that she intends to stand down. The contest for the new leader officially starts on Monday 10th June but as I write this 11 candidates have already put their names forward and begun their campaigns.

Visit to Myriad House in Chelmsford to meet CHP Housing Association

Good to meet up with CHP today.  CHP is a locally managed and governed charitable housing association, the largest provider of social housing in the Chelmsford area.  They are building at least 365 new affordable and social homes each year - one for every day of the year!
