My First Week

It is a huge honour to be elected as the Member of Parliament for Chelmsford and my first week has been very busy.  

Vicky Ford Maiden Speech

Last night I made my Maiden Speech in the UK House of Commons during the debate on the Queen's Speech in the first day of the new Parliament focusing on investing in innovation and infrastructure to build the strong economy we need to support our public services.

Back on the Campaign Trail

After a very sombre few days the national campaigns restarted today.  In Chelmsford we have been knocking on doors morning afternoon and evening.

Campaigning Suspended

My thoughts, and deepest sympathies, are with those affected by the appalling attack in Manchester last night. 

Campaigning is suspended until further notice.

Conservative Manifesto Launched

Theresa May today launched the Conservative and Unionist Party Manifesto for the 2017 General Election "Forward Together, Our Plan for a Stronger Britain and a Prosperous Future"

General Election Campaign Launched

Chelmsford Conservatives today launched their General Election campaign on Chelmsford High Street. 

Vicky Ford, Conservative candidate for Chelmsford said:
