I recently called into Sutherland Lodge GP surgery to see the building work that is happening.
The top floor is being completely reworked. The surgery is still open and seeing patients on the ground floor.
Once the top floor has been completed work will then start on the ground floor - again keeping the surgery open through.
When the work is completed there will be more consulting rooms for more GPs and other medical professionals, a much bigger and better waiting area, a new room for mums to breastfeed in peace and improved disability access.
I would like to thank all those who are doing this important work to expand the surgery, all the staff at the practice for their hard work and the understanding patients.
