Sunday 19th April  Like everyone across the country I am adapting to working from home. As the new Children’s Minister I am finding my days incredibly busy with many online meetings, involving the often-challenging decisions that need to be taken.

Monday 24th February - 9,989 steps  Start the week at the Department for Education for my first “team” meeting. These will happen each week and are chaired by the Secretary of State. The lead civil servants give an update from each of their areas, we discuss key areas of policy and work to be don
