with the Roads Minister

I was delighted to welcome the Roads Minister to Chelmsford in February where he announced two great pieces of news for buses and bus users

Firstly, the #GetAroundforTwoPounds scheme and secondly, the Post-Covid Bus Grant.

Both of this schemes are to be extended to the end of June 2023.

This £155 million investment will secure bus services across Essex and the entire country.  Do make the most of our bus service.

Better Infrastructure

Chelmsford is a new City and is growing rapidly.   We have outstanding schools, homes, shops and much going on.  We need world class infrastructure to match this.  As a former infrastructure financier, I am committed to campaigning for better infrastructure for Chelmsford.

A week in the life of Vicky Ford MP

Friday, 24 March, 2023

In Westminster this week I have been involved in debates on three different Statutory Instruments.   Acts of Parliament which set out our laws, often delegate to ministers the powers to make decisions on detailed areas of policy via follow up in Statutory Instruments (SIs).
