New CCTV installed at Bunny Walks

It was a bit cold and a bit dark the other evening when I went to have a look, but its brilliant that the new CCTV camera between the Bunny Walks and the Avenues footpath has gone live. I popped down with the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, Roger Hirst, to check it out.

The new camera is just one of the many improvements in Chelmsford funded by the government’s safer streets funding program which the police commissioner coordinates locally. It builds on the work that was done in 2022 to make the Bunny Walks safer. Thank you to all those who have worked to make these projects happen.
