It has been another busy week both in Chelmsford and Westminster. 

Train users will be pleased to know that huge progress is being made on Beaulieu Park Station.  I attended a stakeholders event for a full briefing.  It is Network Rails biggest project in the East of England.

Last week Parliament was on recess, so it was great chance to catch up with lots of different organisations across Chelmsford.

As part of #UKSaferInternetDay I hosted a meeting in the House of Commons for children, students and many expert groups to look at what changes need to be made in order to make the online world safer for children.

In relation to the new Community Pharmacy programme, 18 pharmacies across Chelmsford have signed up so far, as shown below.

I spoke to the heads of Barnes Farms Juniors and Springfield Primary today and popped into visit the head and deputy head of Beehive Lane primary. Yesterday, I was told that all 3 schools have been added to the School Rebuilding Program to deliver entirely new schools on these sites.

I had a great time recently at Chelmsford College as part of #NationalApprenticeshipWeek.

It is excellent news that three Chelmsford Schools have been added to the School Rebuilding Program for entirely new school buildings to be constructed.   I spoke to the heads of Barnes Farms Juniors and Springfield Primary and popped in to visit the head and deputy head of Beehive Lane Primary.

I am delighted that the new Criminal Justice Bill has now passed its committee stage.

The Bill introduces a wide range of measures to help keep people safe and tackle crime.

The planning applications for the new Army and Navy Junction and related transport measures have now been submitted. The project took a huge step forward when we secured £68.75 million in funding from the Government in November.
